Is Blogging The Most Lucrative Business Online?

Do you want to know what is the most lucrative business online?

In case you missed my point, let me rephrase that a bit.

Do you want to find out what is the most lucrative thing to do in order to earn big income on the internet?

However I say it, I’m sure you pretty much get the point that I’m trying to raise here.
In fact, I’m pretty sure you very much want to know the answer to this question too as much as I do.

Well, the good news for you is, I would like to share my opinion on what I think could be the most lucrative thing for an online entrepreneur like you and me can do in order to secure a stable source of income through the internet.

The reason why I wrote this post is because I was shocked at what I had discovered today.

All the while, I thought that one of the best online business models to pursue as an internet marketer or merely an internet entrepreneur (if you would rather be called that), is by way of creating your own blog and driving a bunch of live internet traffic to it continuously.

In simple words, I thought that blogging is the best business model to establish online.

Here are the reasons why I thought blogging was the best business model to pursue before – until a few hours ago when I suddenly changed my mind (Oh boy I’m so glad I finally learned the truth to all these misinformation)…

1) Misinformation Indeed – have you read some written posts by some bloggers out there bragging about their success?

Well I did, in fact I always bump into some article written by some blogger claiming how huge of a traffic flow they have successfully established to their blog and how all those visitors can really be great source of income for them.

2) I do get carried away whenever I read bloggers brag about their high trafficked blogs because if you just think about it, their claim really do make sense.

Some blog that is receiving maybe 100, 200, 500 visitors or more per day, just imagine the possibilities of any single one of those visitors actually buying a product that is advertised somewhere on the blog pages, or maybe clicking adsense ads after adsense ads?

Really enticing isn’t it?

3) Have you ever heard about leveraging time and energy to produce long term passive income? Well, a blog is sure the best example of this. Once you establish your blog, you get high search rankings and have a consistent flow of followers for a long time.

Just imagine, you can just sit and relax afterwards. Whew! what a dream that must be eh!

But I have proven all of these as pure myth!

Why?

As you may know, once a blog or website gets an alexa ranking of 100k or less, that means it is already receiving quite a huge volume of traffic to it on a daily basis.

Well, once I have encountered a blogger whose blog was around that alexa ranking and read that her monthly income was only around $400 to $600.

If you think of that as a side income, then there’s nothing wrong with that amount. However, if you want to become a full time online marketer, then this is really a small income to have.

So, I let that blog post pass and slip my mind. After all, I wanted to give that blogger the benefit of the doubt. I thought maybe she just doesn’t know how to monetize her blog to the maximum level possible.

So, months passed by to probably nearly a year today.

Guess what I discovered?

I encountered 2 super bloggers.

Why do I know they’re super bloggers?
Well, because their blogs have alexa rankings of 50k and the other around 30k.

Wow, these guys must be getting tons of traffic to their blogs on a daily basis eh?

Suddenly, I saw a post on one of them reporting its blog income for the month.
His report for that month was around $1100+.

Well again not bad for a side income…

But again, to get a blog rise high on the search engines and establish that huge number of daily visitors would naturally take you a couple of years at the natural. Unless you have a big budget of course to outsource the work that is needed.

I checked the other one that has the alexa ranking of around 30k and his report is almost the same. Even worst for this guy is, 70% of the income reported isn’t even from blogging directly.

I mean, if you are some guy who truly want to quit your day job and work full time from home…

Before you even think as putting up your own blog to be the best route to go after, well my friend – I’d say you better think thrice!

Blogging is definitely not to be considered lucrative if you are finding a real solution to establish a stable income online quicker.

I believe blogging is meant for someone who is willing to invest a lot of time to it, somebody who is not in a hurry, and somebody who is willing to do it on a part time basis cause he or she has a full time job.

I now know what the most lucrative business online based on knowledge, research, experience, and experiment – and today I have taken off blogging from that list.

Making great landing pages and offering high ticket selling items is the most lucrative online business for me.

It doesn’t matter whatever you offer, either a product or service. As long as you know the procedures, then you will find this to be the most lucrative thing you could ever do to create a favorably good source of income on the internet.

And to be fair with blog sites in regards to this business model, you can definitely use blogs as landing pages. In fact, if you’ve got the time, you can do blogging in addition to this.

And please don’t get me wrong, I am not downgrading the great potential of blogging to earn huge amounts of profits. I am just saying that mere blogging alone isn’t lucrative at all, you have to take the concept of blogging to a higher level in order to really take advantage of its earning potential.

I have read an article from a guy who’s claiming that he makes a 5 figure income from very little amount of traffic. But from highly targeted visitors that is. And I can guarantee you, he’s not doing blogging at all.
